Yusef Crowder, founder and director of the African Arts Ensemble (one of the premier African Dance company's in the country) from 1974 -1976. Also drummed with the Uhuru Dance Company for 11 years and Barbara Sullivan's African Dance Connection for nine years. Currently plays for dance classes and offers drum classes.
